Race For The Cure: Wayland Baptist Church is forming a Team for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk that will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15 at McHenry Row. Alzheimer’s Support Group: The Alzheimer’s Association will sponsor “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Canton Waterfront Park, 3001 Boston Street Baltimore, Maryland 21224. Join Wayland’s Support Group of caregivers by either walking or supporting this cause financially by making a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association through our representatives. Usher’s Anniversary: Mark the date and help celebrate the Combined Ushers’ Anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 3:30 pm. We are asking for support of the entire church. Our theme this year is “Unmovable Doorkeepers.”
Music and Women’s Ministry: Come join the Music and Women’s Ministry in presenting Cierra Farrar on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Wayland Baptist Church at 1pm. Let’s worship in song and be in the presence of the Lord! Bring your family and friends. Ticket donations are $10.

Children’s Ministry: Children’s Church will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month. The children will stay with parents in the beginning of the service but will transition to Children’s Church after the morning hymn. Adult leaders and volunteers will lead children to the Multi-Purpose Room to ensure a smooth transition. The children will return to the service at 11:30 a.m.

Reminder: Media Ministry Requests: Requests for Media Ministry support must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the date services are required. When possible, please use the Media Ministry online request form at www.waylandbc.org/member-resources. Please send all information pertaining to your event/activity with the request. Requests received less than 4 weeks in advance may be denied.
Ordering CDs and DVDs: CDs and DVDs of sermons are available for purchase upon request and payment of $5 per CD/DVD. The Media Ministry asks that you submit your request via the church website at www.waylandbc.org/cddvd-order- form-2 OR complete an order form and drop it in the designated Media Ministry mailbox. Order forms and the mailbox can be found in the back of the sanctuary hanging on the column leading up to the balcony. Orders will be processed and available the Sunday following your request. Currently, CDs/DVDs are not available immediately following the regular worship service.
